<p style="text-align: left;">National law firm has a long term part-time temporary opening for a Library and Research Specialist in the Information and Technology Department. The successful candidate will provide reference and research support to the Madison Office. Will also conduct competitive and business intelligence research, serve as the library and research liaison to the firm-wide Intellectual Property Practice Group, manage the on-site library collection, and provide second-tier technical support for library automation applications and the Virtual Library; assist with cost-recovery, cost-savings initiatives, conduct training on the efficient and effective use of print/electronic research tools.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Requirements</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in library and information studies from an ALA accredited institution. Law firm and law library experience strongly preferred. Candidate must have strong technical skills and experience with library automation, solid organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, ability to interact with diverse groups of people and proven customer service skills. <title>Library Director, UW-Fox Valley, Menasha, WI</title>

<p style="text-align: left;">The Director of the Library is responsible for the management of the campus library and reports directly to the Campus Executive Officer/Dean. The position is an 83% appointment (8 months at 100%, 4 months at 50%). The Director develops, promotes, maintains and evaluates library services to faculty, staff, a varied student population, and the community. The Director trains, supervises and evaluates staff and student employees, supports the curriculum through active collaboration with faculty and staff, and is proficient in library computer technologies.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Qualifications</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Masters Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited library school, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience (academic setting preferred).</p>
