Miscellaneous Job Sites & Databases
A link from Rachel Singer Gordon's site, this is a great link to look for jobs in academic libraries and even special libraries in Wisconsin
A link from higheredjobs.com, you can scan for all kinds of library and information professional jobs
http://www.simplyhired.com This is an interesting employment site. My only complaint is that a lot of the jobs posted on this site are outdated and have been filled for a couple of months now. With that being said, make sure the job posting is current. What I like most about this site, and what makes it worthwhile, is that it provides a link to payscale.com, which will allow you to to see the average salary for a similiar position in Wisconsin, and compare that salary with out-of-state salaries. There is also a link where you can email the posting to a friend.
http://www.tedjob.com This link was a request. It is useful in looking for positions in academic settings. If it helps one person its proved useful...
